A mainstay of Melbourne’s soul scene since the 80s, Bev “The Brass” Henderson has toured with everyone from Renee Geyer to The Cat Empire’s horn section. With a voice like velvet and a trumpet that tells stories, Bev’s performances feel like a masterclass in groove. She’s recently taken up mentoring young musos and moonlights as a vocal coach for community choirs.

Before you try to book Bev “The Belt” for your next hen’s night or attempt to commission a soundscape from Dazza with a didgeridoo and a loop pedal — just know: these are demo listings. That’s right, they’re here to strut their stuff and show what’s possible on Revlrr… but please don’t send them your credit card just yet (Bev might accidentally spend it on vintage sequins).

Welcome to Bev’s Studio — where the high notes are higher, the heels are sensible, and the tea (literal and figurative) is always hot. Before we belt it out together, here’s what you need to know:
Scope of Work:
Bev offers cabaret coaching, performance bookings, workshops, and general fabulousness. All engagements must be confirmed in writing (via email or Revlrr messages), including scope, schedule, and fees.
Respect & Inclusion:
Bev’s studio is a safe, inclusive space. Racism, transphobia, ageism, or general rudeness will get you shown the door — and not the stage door.
Usage Rights:
Recording Bev’s lessons, livestreams, or performances requires prior written consent. If Bev says yes, she expects fair credit, good lighting, and not to be cropped out of your TikTok.
Collaboration & Communication:
Bev is a professional. Be punctual, be prepared, and be fabulous. Communication breakdowns (ghosting, passive aggression, etc.) may result in project termination at her discretion, with appropriate notice.
Bev gets it — life happens. But so does rent.
Change of Mind:
Refunds are not available for change of mind after services have commenced or digital content (e.g. recordings, PDFs) has been delivered.
Prepaid Sessions or Courses:
Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the scheduled start of a course or session.
Between 7 and 2 days before: 50% refund.
Less than 48 hours’ notice: No refund, but credits may be offered at Bev’s discretion.
If Bev Cancels:
If Bev is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances (e.g. cat drama, lightning storms in Marrickville), she’ll reschedule or offer a full refund — your choice.
Digital Events:
Refunds for livestreamed performances will only be issued in the event of a technical fault on Bev’s end (e.g. if the internet goes kaput or her mic is accidentally unplugged by Elaine the cat).
Client-Initiated Cancellations:
Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for any session, gig, or booking cancellation. Cancellations with less notice may not be eligible for a refund (see Refund Policy above), but Bev may offer a reschedule if it’s a once-off hiccup.
No-Shows:
Missing a booked session or performance without notice is considered a “no-show.” No-shows are non-refundable and may impact your eligibility to book future sessions. Bev values time — yours and hers.
Bev-Initiated Cancellations:
On the rare occasion Bev needs to cancel (e.g. vocal rest, emergency wardrobe malfunctions), she will provide as much notice as possible and reschedule at no extra cost. If rescheduling isn’t possible, a full refund will be issued.
